The manager looked at his sales rep, holding back a smile, and asked, “Why are we getting a bill from a client?”

The rep looked bewildered until the manager started reading the invoice.  Paper, telephone, office space…  The rep was using the client’s office as his own, sometimes walking in and sitting at an open desk with little or no welcome.  The client decided that enough was enough and billed the rep’s company.

Be aware, always use proper etiquette.  Don’t overstay your welcome.  Ask for permission before doing.

True story!  The rep still laughs about it to this day and says he learned a valuable lesson because of it.
