What is your name? Where do you live?  Where do you work?  What do you do?  What are your hobbies?  What community activities are you involved with? What brought you here today?  How many children did you say you have? What do you think of…?  What books have you read recently? How did you decide that? What’s that mean to you?  How does that affect the people around you?

These are just a few conversational questions, or variations thereof, that will allow you the opportunity to build trust, credibility, and greater depth to a conversation.  By gaining trust, credibility, and depth you can move forward to gaining valuable professional and personal information…information that allows you to influence others logically and emotionally.

By the way, if they aren’t talking after at least eight questions of interests…RUN!

“Ask questions from your heart and you will be answered from the heart.”
